CARROLLTON, Ga. — Construction is set to begin March 24 on a major new distribution hub in Carrollton that company officials say will serve as a key economic driver for West Georgia and the broader Southeast region.
Industrial supply company Fastenal announced it will break ground on its Southeast U.S. regional operations and logistics center at the Old Airport Road development site in Carrollton, with a ceremony scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on March 24, 2026.

The new facility will replace Fastenal’s current 252,000-square-foot Atlanta-area distribution center and is expected to be significantly larger, with capacity to expand to as much as 900,000 square feet.
