Douglasville Beer & Wine Festival Returns March 28 with Craft Brews, Live Music and Local Flavor

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Downtown Douglasville will raise a glass to spring later this month as the second annual Douglasville Beer & Wine Festival returns March 28, bringing craft beverages, live music and dozens of local vendors to the city’s Town Green.

The festival, organized by the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County, is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Douglasville Town Green, 6840 Church St. VIP ticket holders will be allowed early entry starting at noon.

Organizers say the outdoor event is designed to celebrate the arrival of spring while showcasing regional breweries, wineries and local restaurants in a festival atmosphere that blends food, music and community gathering.

Craft drinks, food and music

Festivalgoers can expect tastings from a wide range of beverage producers along with live entertainment and a curated lineup of food and artisan vendors.

Organizers announced that breweries, wineries and meaderies from across Georgia and the Southeast will participate, alongside local restaurants offering everything from baked goods to international cuisine and classic festival fare.

The event is open to attendees 18 and older, while alcohol tastings are restricted to guests 21 and older.

Admission and ticket options

Tickets for the event are currently on sale with several admission levels available:

  • General admission: $45
  • VIP admission: $100
  • Designated driver admission: $10
  • VIP designated driver: $50

General admission includes entry at 1 p.m. with access to beer and wine tastings, live music and vendor areas. VIP guests receive early entry, private restrooms, a branded festival T-shirt and access to additional tasting areas.

Food and craft purchases will be sold separately from the tasting tickets, according to organizers.

Transportation and safety

Because alcohol tastings are a central part of the festival, organizers encourage attendees to plan transportation ahead of time.

Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are widely available in the Douglasville area and are often recommended for events involving alcohol. The festival will also have designated driver ticket options and a free shuttle service operated by Connect Douglas between Douglas County High School and the Town Green, helping reduce congestion and encourage safe travel.

Impact on the community

Beyond entertainment, the event also serves as a fundraiser supporting arts programs in Douglas County. The Cultural Arts Council organizes several community festivals each year and uses proceeds to fund arts education, public art initiatives and cultural programming that reach thousands of residents annually.

City leaders say events like the Beer & Wine Festival also bring visitors into the downtown area, boosting local businesses and restaurants while strengthening Douglasville’s growing reputation as a hub for festivals and community gatherings.

Douglasville, a city of about 34,000 residents west of Atlanta, regularly hosts public events and markets that draw visitors from across the region.

A growing spring tradition

After launching the event last year, organizers say the 2026 festival will feature more vendors, expanded beverage selections and a larger entertainment lineup.

For many residents and visitors, the event marks one of the first major outdoor festivals of the spring season — and an opportunity to sample local brews while enjoying music and food in the heart of downtown Douglasville.
